Managua FC finished the regular Nicaraguan Clausura season top with a seven-point lead. They are in a good position to reach the play-off final after drawing 0-0 at Walter Ferretti in the first leg. That draw took their unbeaten run to 14 games but ended a four-game winning streak. Their opponents had been scoring goals left, right and centre before the weekend's first leg. Going there and coming away with a goalless draw was a great result for Managua FC and they will be confident of finishing off the job in this second leg.
