Managua are top of the Nicaragua Premier League with a lead of three points. They look to keep that lead with a victory over Deportivo Ocotal who are one from bottom in the table. The league leaders have won nine of their 14 league matches this season but have drawn their last two. Those weren't easy fixtures though with one at home to second placed Real Esteli and the other away at Real Madriz (unbeaten in their last three at home). That draw with Esteli ended a run of five straight home league wins. They lost 2-1 away to Ocotal but will be confident of getting a sixth home league victory of the season.

Ocotal are only off the bottom of the table on goal difference and that victory over Managua is one of just two they have had in the league this season with eight defeats. They put three past Managua at home but have only scored nine times in the Nicaragua Premier League this season. Their away form is poor with just one away league win all season. Just two goals have been scored on their travels with 13 conceded. They have conceded at least twice in all of their away league games bar a draw at bottom-of-the-table.Sabanas.
