FC Managua top the Nicaraguan Premier League by five points with two games remaning. They can clinch top spot with a win over Jalapa who are fifth in the table, 13 points below their opponents. The top two go into the play-off semi-finals and Managua are unbeaten in their last ten league games. That loss was away at Deportivo Ocotal who are bottom of the league. Managua have won their last two league games, played against the two sides currently bottom of the table. Home form has seen Managua become the only side in the table not to lose a fixture. They have six wins and a draw against second placed Real Esteli. The last six home games have all seen both teams score, so that's another bet to consider perhaps.

Japala are fifth and looking set to finish in the play-off positions. They are five points clear of seventh place (the top six qualify) so a point from their last two games will get them into the quarter finals. Their 16 league games has seen them score 15 goals and concede 13, the lowest number of aggregate goals for any team and their last two games have both ended 0-0. They come into this game in poor form with no wins in their last three league matches. They would be higher in the table but for their away form. Only one win on their travels with four defeats with that sole victory at bottom-of-the-league Deportivo Ocotal.  The tip here is for a home win.
