Mamelodi Sundowns will set off on their defence of the South African PSL league title on Sunday when they play host to Supersport United. The Brazilians surged to their seventh consecutive top-flight title last season while Matsatsantsa finished in seventh place. Let’s get into the match prediction.
Sundowns enjoyed another excellent season in 2023-24, claiming a record-extending 17th domestic league title while also reaching the semi-final of the CAF Champions League.
The Brazilians went 29 of their 30 PSL games unbeaten last term, winning 22 and drawing seven, before losing the final match of the term, though they were already 24 points clear at the top of the standings by that point.
