Malmo haven't made it into the group stages of the Champions League since the 2015/16 season. They host Ludogorets Razgrad in the first leg of the play-off round. The Swedish side have had to play three qualifying rounds and are unbeaten in their six matches. There's been no clean sheets though and all but one of their six Champions League games played this season have seen both teams get on the scoresheet. The Bulgarian team had to go to penalties to get past Olympiakos in the third qualifying round after two score draws. Under the old away goals rule, they'd have been knocked out. Three of their six games in the Champions League this season have seen both teams score. Five of their last six Champions League away games have seen both teams score. Ludogorets are fourth in their domestic league, having won both of their games this season.
