Mallorca plays host to league leaders Real Madrid at the Visit Mallorca Estadi in this La Liga clash. The home team are currently in 16th position with 26 points while the visitors are top of the table with 63 points. Mallorca had a heart breaking 4-3 loss in their last match against Celta Vigo where an injury time penalty won the match for their opposition. This defeat makes it four losses in a row and puts them just two points above the relegation zone although they do have a game in hand over the teams below them. They will be desperately trying to avoid five defeats on the trot for the first time since the 2012 season. Mallorca have lost nine of their last 11 matches against Real Madrid but won their last home match against them which was in October 2019.

Madrid will be in great spirits after their miraculous Champions League triumph thanks to a brilliant Karin Benzema hat trick. They have also been superb in the league and lead second placed Sevilla by eight points. Madrid have won their last three league matches and are unbeaten in their last seven matches. They have however struggled on the road recently and have only won one of their last three away matches. Madrid have avoided defeat in seven of the last eight away matches to Mallorca and are hoping not to lose consecutive away matches to them for the first time in their history.
