Mali vs Uganda Prediction & Betting Tips - World Cup
by Daniel Ngulu | in World Cup Predictions
Mali have been one of the best performing teams in the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and going to their final Group E game, they have their ticket for the final stage in tow. They will be hosting Uganda in Agadir and looking to finish the group stage unbeaten. So far, Mali tops the group with 13 points, four ahead of Uganda who are second. The two nations drew 0-0 in the first meeting in Kampala, the only time in this group that Mali failed to register a win, and a goal. They have four wins and a draw and have already qualified for the final stage of the qualifiers. Mali haven’t conceded a goal in this group and ahead of this clash they thumped Rwanda 3-0 away. Ibrahima Kone has been the team’s best performer in attack, with five goals in the last three matches. Mali have three straight draws with Uganda and they have nothing much to play for in this game.
Uganda’s hopes for getting to the final stage of the qualifiers were extinguished by the bitter rivals, Kenya in their Thursday clash. The two East African neighbors played to a 1-1 draw in Kampala, and Uganda needed a last-minute goal to steal a point from a losing position. Uganda aren’t very attacking; while they have four clean sheets in their last five matches, they haven’t scored more than a goal in their last six games. In World Cup qualification, they have one loss only in the last 10, but managed just four wins. It isn’t much better away from home in World Cup qualification; they have two wins in 10, only beating Togo and Rwanda.

Our Mali vs Uganda Prediction
Mali will use this game more as preparation for the AFCON finals coming in January. They have already qualified for the final stage of the qualifiers while Uganda have nothing to play for. Uganda haven’t been the best of performers away from home in World Cup qualification and a draw seems possible here.
