Lyon are in good form after making a terrible start to the season. They are up to tenth in Ligue 1 and host Lens who are in sixth place. The home side were in the relegation zone for a fair while but are now six points above the bottom three. A form guide for the last 15 league games has them in fifth place and third over the past ten fixtures. They come into this match having won their last four league matches. The most recent of those victories was a 2-1 win at Metz who are currently in the relegation zone. Four of their last five home games in Ligue 1 has been won. They've also got a chance of European football as they are in the French Cup semi-finals. Three of their last four home matches have seen under 2.5 goals scored.

Lens are in the Europa Conference League qualifying position and eight points clear of Lyon. They are only two points behind the Europa League place and just four away from the Champions League.
