Midweek didn't work out as expected for Lyon as they lost 3-2 at home to Rennes in the semi-finals of the French Cup. They have to put that behind them now as they continue their bid to qualify for the Champions League next season. They start the weekend in third place which would get them into the play-offs, however another four points would see them catch Lille and get into the group stages. Their Champions League qualification hopes are looking good though as they lead fourth-placed St Etienne by seven points. Lyon have won their last four home league games and that includes a win over leaders PSG. They have won 10 of their 15 home league games this season and only PSG have a better record.

Dijon are bottom of the table and in deep relegation trouble. They are nine points from safety and have just one point from their last nine league games. Their last three matches have all been lost and they have failed to score in any of them. Scoring really is a problem for them and it's even worse on the road. Dijon have failed to score in any of their last seven league matches losing all of them. They haven't earned a point on their travels since a 2-2 draw at Toulouse in early December. The tip here is for a Lyon home win.
