Luton Town vs Sheffield United Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

As two newly promoted sides Luton Town and Sheffield United were expected to find things tough in the Premier League and so it has proven. That said, Luton have found some excellent form of late under manager Rob Edwards and the Hatters have managed to find the net eight times in their past two games, including that memorable 4-4 draw away to Newcastle United last weekend. They can also point to a 3-2 win at Bramall Lane on Boxing Day over today's opponents as being the start of this improved run. The importance of a win here won't be lost on the home fans, who see their team one point above Everton outside the relegation zone. With Everton facing Manchester City, this could be an incredible opportunity for Luton to go four points clear of the drop zone. 

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder will know the difficulty of the task his team faces to stay in this division. Many may feel that the Blades task is already a forlorn one as they sit bottom of the table with just 10 points from their 23 games, conceding 59 goals (12 more than the next worst total) and scoring just 19 (the fewest number in the division by five). The Blades are already 10 points adrift of today's opponents and in truth, it is looking incredibly bleak for Wilder's team. With just one draw in their last four Premier League games, they also have the poorest recent record of any team in the division which all tend to seemingly point to an obvious result when these two teams clash on Saturday afternoon.
