Luton Town are back in the second tier of English football for the first time in 12 years. In that time, they have dropped down the leagues, even ending up in non-league football. They returned to the Football League in 2014 and both of the past two seasons has seen them win promotion. Luton Town were the League One champions last season and will probably look to consolidate their position in the Championship this season. They have scored over 90 goals in each of the last two seasons but are likely to find scoring a lot harder an achievement in the Championship. Luton haven't been too busy in the transfer window, signing Martin Cranie from Sheffield United and Callum McManaman from Wigan. They have lost the services of James Justin to Leicester City and Jack Stacey to Bournemouth.

Middlesbrough finished just outside the promotion play-off positions last season. They had a terrible run of form at the start of the year and had been in the top six before that. They have a new man in charge this season with club legend Jonathan Woodgate taking over. Hopefully, Boro will play in a more positive way this season now that Tony Pulis has departed. They also haven't been too busy in the transfer market this summer. This looks a game that could well have over 2.5 goals scored in it and that's the tip.
