The Los Angeles Galaxy host Minnesota for an action-packed MLS game. The home side are sitting sixth in the Western conference, with Minnesota hovering in twelfth place. It has been a mixed campaign so far for Greg Vanney’s side. The recent exit in the cup against second tier side Sacramento Republic caused severe outrage among the Galaxy supporters. It also continued a negative trend that has seen the LA outfit concede in eight consecutive matches. The thirteen points accrued in their eight MLS home games so far cannot be considered an immaculate home record but the hosts are punctual in their attacking duties at least, scoring in eight of their last nine at the Dignity Health Sports Park. In terms of defensive solidity or more specifically the lack of it, it has cost them valuable points, with the team failing to record a clean sheet in their last eleven games. They have also conceded two or more goals in four of their last five away games. In an interesting H2H statistic, Minnesota have conceded at least two goals in all four of the games they have played away at the Galaxy.
