Lokomotiv Moscow and Salzburg are the two sides yet to win their matches in Group A of the UEFA Champions League going to Match Day 5 of the competition. Ahead of this game in Russia, hosts Lokomotiv have three points in third place, while bottom placed Salzburg have one point. The Russian side has had a shaky season so far, and in the Russian league, they are seventh, seven points behind the leaders and they have the poorest goal difference in the top nine teams. A win here would however place them in a good position to vie for a Europa League place and they will depend on their good scoring form in the run up to this match. However, they have no clean sheet in the last five matches. Six of their last seven matches have produced over 2.5 goals and each of the last six matches in the Champions League has also produced over 2.5 goals. Salzburg go to this game having lost all their last three Champions League matches. They opened their Champions League campaign with a 2-2 draw with Lokomotiv Moscow and have so far conceded two or more in their four group games.
