Liverpool vs West Ham Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Steve Ashfield | in Premier League Predictions
Liverpool had a good season last year reaching the Champions League final but knew they still needed to improve their squad after finishing 25 points behind Manchester City. A new goalkeeper was definitely high on Jurgen Klopp's shopping list and he went out and signed Alisson as well as securing Shaqiri, Keita and Fabinho. Another boost has been the return of striker Daniel Sturridge making Liverpool an even more threatening and exciting team. Home form is excellent as they were the only team in the Premier League last season not to lose a home fixture and they kept clean sheets in their last five league games played at Anfield. Overall, they are on a 20-game unbeaten run
West Ham had a disappointintg time of it last season and there was plenty of unrest among their fans. They finished 13th in the league, nine points above the bottom three but with only ten wins and 16 defeats. A new season and another new manager, this time Manuel Pellegrini and he's made plenty of new signings during the summer. Top signings include Jack Wilshere, Issa Diop, Lukasz Fabianski and Lucas Perez. Their new team might take a while to gel and their first nine fixtures see them playing six of last season's top eight. Away form was poor with three wins and ten defeats including a 4-1 loss at Anfield. Go for Liverpool to kick their season off with a home win leading at both half and full time.

Our Liverpool vs West Ham Prediction
Liverpool look strong in all departments and should make a bold bid to win the Premier League title this season. They are strong at home and already scoring plenty of goals. West Ham have made lots of new signings but then again that's often what they do every summer. Back Liverpool to get the win and be ahead at both half and full time.
