Liverpool - West Ham: Form Analysis
Liverpool have dominated this fixture and aside from winning the last three meetings have won six straight as hosts. With their superb start to the season, Jurgen Klopp’s men will be confident of another victory. The Reds are unbeaten this season and have won five of the six matches they have played across all competitions. Four of those victories have come in the league where they have amassed 13 points. Liverpool are tied with two other teams on points and trail leaders Manchester City by two points. The Merseyside outfit arrives for this match after a 3-1 success away to LASK in the Europa League. It was the third match in a row that they had scored three goals.
West Ham United are also coming off a 3-1 success in the Europa League in midweek. David Moyes’ men defeated TSC at home to begin their quest for another European title on the right footing. It was the perfect response to their 3-1 defeat at home to Manchester City last weekend. That loss, their first of the season, ended a three-match winning run. The Hammers have been one of the best-scoring teams this season. They have scored three goals a match three times in their last five matches. This explosive form will have them confident of putting to a halt this Liverpool dominance in this fixture.

Liverpool & West Ham Squad Analysis
Liverpool will have skipper Virgil van Dijk available for selection following the elapsing of a two-match suspension. This is a big boost for Jurgen Klopp who has had to do without several of his first-team players due to injury. Trent Alexander-Arnold has missed the last two matches and remains a doubt due to a hamstring issue. Ryan Gravenberch suffered cramp in midweek but should be good to go on Sunday. Mohammed Salah has scored nine goals against West Ham as a Liverpool player and will be one of the threats here. The Egyptian has already scored five goals this season with two coming in the league.
West Ham could be without top scorer Jarrod Bowen for Sunday’s afternoon tie. The forward missed Thursday’s Europa League game due to illness. Bowen has scored six goals for the Hammers with half coming in the league. Aaron Cresswell is also another potential absentee for West Ham. The defender was withdrawn at halftime against TSC with what is believed to be a hamstring problem. There is some good news though as Edson Alvarez is back for this match after missing the midweek action due to suspension.
