Liverpool vs West Brom Prediction & Betting Tips - FA Cup
by Steve Ashfield | in FA Cup Predictions
Liverpool's hopes of finishing in the top four took a blow on Monday when they lost to bottom of the table Swansea City. Now they face the side who are only above Swansea on goal difference, namely West Bromwich Albion with a place in the last sixteen of the FA Cup at stake. The home side are yet to be defeated at Anfield this season and the fact their name came out of the hat first could welll be the decisive factor in this all Premier League cup tie. Liverpool have the fourth best home record in the Premier League this season and alongside Manchester City are the only undefeated side. They have won their last three home league games and scored 11 goals in the process but earlier in the season West Brom did get a draw at Anfield. Liverpool will play a weakened side but the depth in their squad is a lot better than their opponents. West Brom have picked up a bit in recent weeks with a win over out-of-form Brighton and Hove Albion and a draw at Everton last week. They are still in the relegation zone though and that win over Brighton was their only one since August. Away form this season has seen them earn just seven points from 12 games and only Stoke City have a worse record. Their win away at League Two Exeter in the third round is their only away victory in their past 12 games. This looks booked for a Liverpool home win.

Our Liverpool vs West Brom Prediction
Both sides are likely to play weakened sides so keep an eye on the team line-ups. Liverpool are yet to lose at Anfield this season and West Brom struggle on their travels. Home advantage is the key therefore and the FA Cup represents the best chance for Liverpool to win a trophy this season. Albion are improving slowly but this looks booked for a home win.
