Liverpool's hopes of Europa  League football next season suffered a big blow when a much-changed side lost to Swansea on Sunday. Now they can focus all their attention on this Europa League semi-final second leg at home to Villarreal. They trail 1-0 from the first leg thanks to a late winner but will fancy their chances of overturning that lead and get through to the final and a possible Champions League place. Liverpool are still unbeaten at home in the Europa League this season and will be hoping for the same kind of atmosphere that was so brilliant in their quarter final win against Dortmund. They take on a Spanish side that have only won two of their six away Europa League games but only been beaten once. Villarreal had a good away win at Valencia on Sunday ending a run of three La Liga games without a win but they have lost three of their last five away league games so that must give Liverpool a bit of hope. I think Liverpool's good home record with just one loss in their last ten league games and a crowd that will be a million per cent behind them can get Liverpool the home win that could get them through to the final.
