Jurgen Klopp wasn't too happy with his side after their 2-0 loss at top of the table Leicester in midweek. That leaves them 8th in the table, five points off the top six. They really are inconsistent at the moment and have failed to win their last three games (penalty shoot-outs excluded). Liverpool put five past Norwich but haven't scored in the three games played since then. They also haven't scored in three of their last four home matches as Benteke fails to fire on all cylinders and Sturridge remains on the injury list. Sunderland might be a good team for Liverpool to face at present. They are one from bottom in the table and four points from safety. Their last three league games have produced just one point and have just one win in their last six away matches. The problem is they just keep on conceding goals on their travels. The last six has seen them let in 19 goals and with form like that they're on their way to the Championship. Liverpool can't be totally trusted at all but nor can Sunderland's defence so I go for a home win here.
