Liverpool will be heartened by their 1-1 draw at Dortmund on Thursday which gives them a good chance of making it into the last four of the Europa League. That also keeps alive their hopes of making it into the Champions League if they can win the Europa League this season. Qualifying through the Premier League is still possible with Liverpool nine points adrift of the top four and six of the Europa League but with a game in hand. To keep those hopes alive they have to get some wins but haven't won any of their last four games in all competitions and only have one point from their last two league matches. Home form is ok though with a run of seven games unbeaten in all competitions since a 1-0 loss over 120 minutes in the Capital One Cup to a certain Stoke City side. The Potters are seventh in the Premier League four points off the top six but having played a game more. They mucked up a 2-0 lead last weekend only drawing 2-2 with Swansea in the end. Stoke have only one defeat in their last seven league games and away from home have won two of their last three. This is a hard game to predict with Liverpool having played in Europe on Thursday and so far this season they have only won one of the eight games played straight after a Europa League game. Stoke don't have a great Anfield record and before that win in the Capital One Cup their last victory at Liverpool was in 1959. I go for a Liverpool win here.
