Liverpool vs Stoke Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Steve Ashfield | in Premier League Predictions
Liverpool took massive strides towards reaching the final of the Champions League with a stunning 5-2 home win over Roma on Tuesday. Their minds may be on the second leg but Liverpool are still chasing a runners-up place in the Premier League and a win here will take them into second, though from two games more than Manchester United. It's possible a few players may be rested and this writer certainly wouldn't risk Mo Salah but Jurgen Klopp may have other ideas. Liverpool are yet to lose a league game at home this season and are on a 19-game unbeaten run since a loss to Crystal Palace last season. A win will take them 11 points clear of Chelsea in fifth and all but in the Champions League next season.
Their opponents can only dream of Champions League glory and will most likely be in the Championship next season. They start the weekend one from bottom in the table and four poiints from safety and only have three games left to play. They have gone 11 league games without a win and defeat here and a win for Swansea over Chelsea on Sunday would all but relegate them. Stoke have gone 12 away league games since their last win earning just five points from those games. Even if Liverpool do leave a few players out, they should be able to get the three points here and back them to lead at half and full time.

Our Liverpool vs Stoke Prediction
Stoke City are in deep relegation trouble and defeat here could all but relegate them. They have a terrible away record and it's nearly sixty years since their last league win at Anfield. Liverpool are yet to lose a home league game this season and even if resting some players should have enough in the tank to beat their struggling opponents. The suggested bet is Liverpool to win leading at both half and full time.
