Liverpool start the weekend in third place in the Premier League and four points clear of Chelsea who are fifth. This game precedes their midweek Champions League tie against Porto but with home advantage and a 5-0 lead from the first leg, there's no real reason to rest any players for this league game. Liverpool again play before Manchester United this weekend, so a win can take them into second place for a while but of course with little chance of catching league leaders Manchester City. Last weekend saw the Reds demolish West Ham 4-1 with Salah, Firmino and Mane all on the score-sheet. They have scored at least twice in each of their last six games and in 13 of the last 14. They just can't stop scoring and there seems to be little reason why that won't be the case again this weekend considering their opponents. Rafael Benitez returns to Anfield looking for points as his Newcastle side battle relegation. They start the weekend in 15th place but are only two points above the bottom three. They are on an unbeaten run of four league games but three of those have ended in draws and those could prove costly in a few weeks time. Last weekend, they led 2-0 at Bournemouth only to be pegged back and they only have one win in their last five away league matches.  Newcastle have conceded in 12 of their last 13 away league matches, the only clean sheet being at bottom three side Stoke City,  With seven away league defeats already and 23 goals conceded, a bet on over 2.5 goals in this match looks the bet to go for.
