If they are holding any hope for qualifying in the Champions League, Brendan Rodgers's men really only have one option and that is to win against sad Newcastle who are currently in 13th position. Beaten in their last four outings in the league, the Magpies probably just want to break they consecutive lose run and could well try a strong defence approach which hinder a Liverpool side who are having problems finding the back of the net.
