Liverpool beat Stoke on Sunday to keep up their slim hopes of getting into Europe via the Premier League. A Europa League place is still possible but they are just four games away from winning this competition and qualifying for the Champions League. They still haven't lost a game in the Europa League this season but have drawn seven of their ten games!  That includes two at home but their best result by far was going to Dortmund and getting a draw and it could have been better after taking a first half lead. Home advantage gives them a good chance of making the last four but I wouldn't bet on it simply because of how impressive Dortmund can be.  They were held to a draw in the Bundesliga at the weekend and are now seven points behind Bayern so the title looks out of reach. That means they can concentrate more on winning this competition. The draw last week ended a run of four straight wins in the Europa League including home and away wins over Spurs. Away form in the Europa League this season started with two big away wins in qualifying but they had a few problems in the group stages with a loss at Krasnodar (who won all their home group games). They have improved a fair bit since then though so this is really difficult to bet on. I think going for both teams to score will definitely pay dividends.
