Liverpool vs Crystal Palace Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Steve Ashfield | in Premier League Predictions
When Liverpool were winning titles in the 1970s and 80s, Anfield was a fortress and the Reds have done that again over. They have gone 31 home league games without defeat and it was Crystal Palace on April 23, 2017 who inflicted the last league defeat. Liverpool beat Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend to bounce back from two successive defeats and keep them four points clear at the top of the table. They have won their last six home league games and 14 of the last 16. Liverpool may not score as many home league goals as Manchester City (27 v 40) but they rarely concede goals (3 v 10) and three more points look likely here.
Crystal Palace had that famous win here in 2017 and also beat Manchester City away last month, but still have major relegation worries. They also won twice at Anfield in 2015 and would love a similiar result here. Palace lost at home to Watford last weekend and have been beaten in two of their last three league games leaving them 14th and only four points above the relegation zone. They have won their last two away league games but have six defeats out of eleven on the road. Go for Liverpool to get another three points and be ahead at both half and full time.

Our Liverpool vs Crystal Palace Prediction
Liverpool are four points clear at the top of the Premier League and can't afford any slip-ups here. They are unbeaten at home this season with a series of dominant performances and just three goals conceded. Crystal Palace have had their share of upset wins at top teams but with Wilfried Zaha not at his best, they will struggle here. Go for Liverpool to get the win, leading at both half and full time.
