Liverpool are down in 13th place after six Premier League games with eight points from six games. That's only seven points behind the league leaders but Liverpool need to be more consistent. Last weekend they could only draw 1-1 at home to Norwich City, that follows a 3-0 defeat in their previous home game and a 3-1 loss at Old Trafford. Midweek saw them only able to beat Carlisle on penalties. Their last four league games have produced just two points and two goals. However this weekend they face an Aston Villa side that are again struggling for form and this is an ideal opportunity for Liverpool to get back into winning ways in the Premier League. Villa lie 17th in the table, just one place above the bottom three that they spent so much time in last year.  Just four points from six games is bad enough but remember, they won their opening fixture away at Bournemouth so that's just one point from their last five league matches.  Can it get worse? Well, yes it can because that solitary point was earned when they were held at home by bottom of the table Sunderland. Villa have lost their last two away games and another defeat looks likely here.
