Liverpool have had a busy season so far but at least they will have had a week off before this game. That wasn't the case last weekend when they took on Southampton just three days after winning the European Super Cup in Istanbul. They have a 100 per cent record in the Premier League this season. They kicked off with a 4-1 home win over Norwich and then travelled to Southampton and came away 2-0 winners. In between those two matches, they won the European Super Cup on penalties against Chelsea. Liverpool haven't lost a home league game in the past two seasons. They are unbeaten in the last 41 home league games and have won 15 of the last 16. Liverpool are unbeaten in their last eight games against Arsenal. At Anfield, Liverpool have won their last three home games against Arsenal scoring 12 goals.

Arsenal are second in the Premier League, only behind Liverpool on goal difference. They have had two wins, both by a single goal. First off, they beat Newcastle United 1-0 away and then won their first home league game of the season 2-1 against Burnley. They have made several new signings this summer but not all of them have been starting games yet. Arsenal will need to improve their away record if they are to challenge for the top four or even the title. They haven't won a league match at Anfield in seven years and have only four wins in their last 14 away league games. The tip here is for a home victory.
