The Darius and Girenas Stadium will shine brightly this Tuesday evening when Lithuania host Romania in their round four UEFA Nations League clash. With two sides at completely different ends of the group, the Trispalves have yet to record a single point while the Tricolorii have yet to lose a point in their first three group stage matches. Lithuania faced another defeat at home last time out when a strong performance from Kosovo proved to be too much to handle resulting in a disappointing 2-1 loss.

With three consecutive defeats in the group stage, chances for the Trispalvas to qualify have now sunk to almost zero, barring a shock win streak from them and a total collapse by the teams above them. 

At home, the Lithuanians have had little to cheer about lately with three consecutive losses across all competitions, while they have only kept one clean sheet in their last eight. 

Romania, on the other hand, played out a comfortable 3-0 win against Cyprus last week, with all three goals coming in the first half, before they saw out the contest at a canter in the second period. 

An unbeaten three-match record has now almost guaranteed Romania top spot, and a win here will see them cement that position before the last two games are played.

The Tricolorii have been solid on their travels in this competition with six goals in their two matches, while they have yet to concede at the other end.
