Lithuania vs Montenegro Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro

The UEFA European Championship Qualifiers resume this week, with Lithuania taking on Montenegro on Friday evening. The hosts are currently bottom of Group G, while the visitors are in third place. Lithuania have secured just one point in their three matches in these qualifiers so far. That came in a 1-1 draw against Bulgaria in June, while they lost 2-0 to Serbia and Hungary in their other two matches. With those results, Rinktine are now winless in their last 13 matches in all competitions, including ten losses and three draws. They also failed to score in ten of those matches while only finding the net on three occasions in that time. The hosts finished at the bottom of Group C1 in the 2022–23 UEFA Nations League, losing five and drawing one of their six matches. Lithuania are ranked 44th according to the UEFA Country Rankings and are the biggest underdog to qualify from this group according to the bookmakers. 

Montenegro have managed four points in their first three matches of qualifying. They made a winning start, beating Bulgaria 1-0 back in March, which brought an end to a four-match winless streak. That result also saw them move up a place in the UEFA Rankings to 53rd, though that is still the third-lowest of all nations on the table. Since then, the visitors lost 2-0 to Serbia and drew 0-0 against group leaders Hungary in June. The Brave Falcons finished third in Group B3 at the Nations League, with seven points in their six matches. While their ranking may not inspire much confidence, Montenegro have recorded a few notable results in the last 18 months. Aside from the four points they managed in this competition, they also drew with Boznia-Herzegovina and Slovakia, and beat Romania twice in the Nations League. The visitors are the clear favourites to win this match.
