French champions Lille haven’t had a decent start to the season but will hope the Champions League offers some reprieve. They are drawn in Group G and will start it off with a home match against German side Wolfsburg, seeking to improve from a run of just two wins in the last six matches. Lille are coming to this game straight from another loss in Ligue 1, falling 2-1 to Lorient, a result that leaves them without a clean sheet in the last five matches. In their last six Champions League matches, Wolfsburg have five wins, but away from home they have five losses in eight matches in the competition. These two sides have met two times before and Wolfsburg have one win while one ended in a draw.
