LOSC Lille are going for their sixth Ligue 1 title and will be looking to extend their advantage when they host Strasbourg on Sunday. The hosts lead the league standings on 58 points, three ahead of second placed Lyon while Strasbourg come 15th with 29 points. Lille are out of the Europa League and will train more focus now on Ligue 1. They have a good scoring run, having failed to score in just one of the last five, the 0-0 draw with Brest, and are unbeaten in the last eight league matches. The league leaders have won seven of the eight matches. They also have an edge in attack; while they have kept four clean sheets in the last five league matches, Lille have scored 10 goals in the five games and conceded one. In the last 16 league matches they’ve lost just once, winning 12 and with PSG stuttering, they’ll want to take advantage. At home, Lille have one loss and eight wins in 13 Ligue 1 matches, bagging 28 points from a possible 39.

Strasbourg, on their part, are six points above the relegation zone and hope to bank three points here to push their survival agenda. However, they haven’t matched their wishes with performance on the pitch, winning once and keeping one clean sheet in the last seven matches. The visitors head here straight from a 0-0 draw with Angers SCO, which handed them their only clean sheet so far in seven matches. They have four wins in the last 11 matches and failed to score in three of the last five league games. In the 13 away matches in the league this season, Strasbourg have lost seven.
