It's ten years since Lille were Ligue 1 champions. They top the table and host ninth placed Nice looking for another three valuable points. Winning their final four league games will see them become champions. They begin the weekend with a one point lead over PSG but may have lost that lead by the time this game begins. PSG are home to Lens earlier on Saturday and a point would be enough to see them go top. Lille had a vital win last week but it didn't look likely to happen. They were 2-0 down at Lyon in the second half before fighting back to win 3-2. They have won three of their last four league fixtures but home form has been a bit of a worry. Lille have one win in the last five but three have ended level. They had to come from behind to get a point in their last home game, a 1-1 draw with Montpellier.

Nice have little to play for with no chance of a place in Europe and safe from relegation. They also had to come from behind in a recent home game against Montpellier. No draw for them though as they won 3-1. That victory ended a run of two league games without a win or a goal being scored. They lost their last away game 2-0 at Dijon who are bottom of Ligue 1 and already relegated. That was the fourth game in the last seven away league games that Nice have lost. The teams beating them include title challengers PSG and Monaco. They have two away games remaining and after this they go to fourth placed Lyon, so a tough end to the season. Go for a home win here to ensure Lille end the weekend still top of Ligue 1.
