Saturday sees fifth-placed Lille will play host to Marseille, who occupy the third spot in Ligue 1.  Marseille are just two points behind Lens, and a win in this match will take them into second, with Lens scheduled to play on Sunday. The visitors were overtaken by Lens two weeks ago but bounced back well in their last match to beat Angers 3-1. With that win, Marseille have recorded four wins in their last five league matches and have only lost once in their last ten. Their away record has also been solid this season, losing just twice in 17 matches, along with 12 wins and three draws on the road. Marseille won the reverse fixture back in September 2-1. If Marseille finishes third in Ligue 1, they will need to play in the Champions League qualifiers. 

Meanwhile, Lille will be aiming to hold off the sides below them that are trying to sneak into the Europa Conference League qualification spots. The hosts currently trail Monaco by five points and are just one point above Rennes in sixth. They will also be looking to keep their Europa League qualification hopes alive. However, they will need Monaco in fourth place to slip up twice in their last three matches to have a chance to get by them. Lille drew 0-0 against Monaco in their last match, which was their second draw in their last six matches, along with two wins and two losses. The hosts have taken 37 points from a possible 51 on their home patch this season with a record of 11 wins, four draws, and two losses. Lille are unbeaten in their last 14 home league matches and are on a three-match win streak.
