Morocco had a good start to their 2023 AFCON qualification with a 2-1 home win over South Africa and next up they have an away game against Liberia. Hosts Liberia had no game as the other team in Group K, Zimbabwe, stands suspended. The home team will be hoping for a good start, though their recent matches haven’t posted the results. Liberia have three straight losses ahead of this game and have lost eight of the last 10 matches. In those 10 matches, they have one clean sheet only. Each of their last five matches have been home games, and they’ve suffered four losses, while failing to score in three of the five.

In their first meeting with Liberia, Morocco will be eyeing a second win in this group, after coming from behind to beat South Africa at home. Morocco have eight wins in those 12 AFCON qualification matches and away from home in AFCON qualifiers, they have four straight clean sheets.
