The Estadi Ciudad de Valencia plays host to an intriguing clash for the Spanish second division, with Levante facing off with Malaga. The hosts have been impressive in their first season away from the top flight since 2017, currently occupying fourth place in the standings and just three shy of the automatic promotion places. The Valencia outfit have also been in stellar form of late, being unbeaten in each of their last nine games, winning three of those. They have also been impressive on home turf, winning nine of their last thirteen home encounters and losing just two in that run. On the downside, Levante have found clean sheets hard to come by, conceding in eight of their last eleven matchups. 

Malaga claimed a vital victory over Ponferradina at the weekend, with the 1-0 victory being their fourth unbeaten game on the spin. Overall however, Malaga have been poor this season, with their penultimate position placing in the LaLiga 2 standings signifying just that. The visitors have won just three of their last fifteen games in all competitions, while they have failed to score in five of those. It has been worse on the road, where they have tasted victory just once in their last eight away encounters, failing to score in half of those. As if that was not enough, Malaga have found a lot of joy in recent trips to the Ciudad de Valencia, where they have been defeated in four of their last five outings.
