Levante vs Albacete Prediction & Betting Tips - LaLiga 2

Levante continue their bid to get back into La Liga at the first attempt. They lead this Liga2 promotion play-off semi-final 3-1 after the away first leg at Albacete. The Granoles finished third in LaLiga2 and only missed out on automatic promotion because of their head-to-head results with Las Palmas. That took Los Azulgranas into the play-offs but they made a great start with an away win last Saturday. It didn't start well for them though with Albacete taking an early lead. A brace by Jorge de Frutos and an own goal gave Levante a great lead coming into this home leg. Levante have only lost one of their last six games. But for some poor results in late March and early April they'd be in La Liga now. Home form this season has seen Levante win 11 league matches with only three defeats. Just one of their last 16 home league matches has been lost. Against Albacete in the main season Levante won 3-2 away and drew 0-0 at home.

Albacete have it all to do if they want to reach the final against either Alaves or Eibar. They finished sixth in the main season and were five points behind Levante. It was a comfortable sixth placed finish though as they ended the main season eight points clear of Andorra. Their defeat in the first leg ended a run of seven games without defeat. However, only one of their last four matches has been won. They had the third best away record in the league but drew nine of their 21 games with seven wins and five defeats. Only two of their last nine away games have been won and they've only scored more than once in two of their last 11 on the road. They'll need to do much better than that on Wednesday. We tip Levante to get a win and go into the final.
