RC Lens will be looking to keep their title challenge in the French Ligue 1 alive when they play host to ambitious Stade Reims in Match Day 35 action on Friday. Lens have stood out as the closest challengers to league leaders PSG and from this match they will be looking to close the gap at the top to three points, while 10th placed Reims seek to rise as well. Heading into this game, Lens are on three straight wins and look on course to securing the automatic Champions League place after recent wins over their direct competitors – Monaco and Marseille. A 2-1 win over Marseille in the last game denied Lens a third straight clean sheet but they have four straight wins at home and are undefeated in the last six at their backyard, five of them being wins. Two of Reims’ last three away matches have produced over 2.5 goals but they’ve failed to score in three of their last five away matches. Reims will be seeking their first win in six meetings with Lens, having lost twice in the last three meetings.
