The Ligue 1 match between Lens and Nice at Stade Bolaert - Delelis promises to be a hotly contested encounter. Lens are sitting in second place, trailing leaders PSG, while Nice are ninth at the moment. The Lens outfit is riding high on an impressive twelve-game unbeaten streak and has been particularly dominant at home, with eleven consecutive home wins and at least two goals scored in seven of those games. Furthermore, the hosts have won four of their last five home meetings against Nice, conceding only one goal in the process, and are deserved favourites to prevail once again. 

Nice has been showing signs of improvement under coach Digard and comes into the match with two wins in three games. The visitors are ninth in the standings and will come into the match with newfound confidence after a win against Lille at the weekend. Despite their recent success though, they have struggled on the road, going winless in their last six away games and tasting victory only twice in their last eleven away encounters, with the lowest point being a defeat to amateur side Le Puy en Velay for the Coupe de France. This should be extra worrying the Nice outfit, and they are tipped to struggle in a tough ground where they have only scored once in their last five visits.
