Leipzig will look to bounce back from consecutive losses as they host lower-half Bundesliga side Heidenheim. This match will be played at the Red Bull Arena Leipzig on Saturday with the hosts 5th on 23 points and the visitors 13th on 11 points. Leipzig are coming off a 3-2 loss to Manchester City in the Champions League where they failed to keep a two-goal lead. That leaves them outside top-four spots, although only four behind top-three sides. Playing at home is the perfect antidote perhaps, as Leipzig are yet to lose a home league game this season. Heidenheim start this round three points above the bottom-three which isn’t a huge cushion to be happy about. They are coming off a goalless draw against Bochum, which made it four points from their last six league games. They need to quickly get back their winning mojo or risk getting dragged into the relegation battle. It is their defence that needs quick improvements, as Heidenheim have conceded 26 goals this season. That tally is worse than all sides bar three, which should worry the visitors. To add to that, they are yet to win away from home in the Bundesliga this season. They lost five and drew one match so far on the road, with four defeats coming in a row.
