Last season saw Leipzig make a highly eventful debut in European football. They started off in the Champions League finishing third in their group and then reaching the quarter finals of the Europa League losing to Marseille who went on to lose in the final against Atletico Madrid. In the Bundesliga they finished sixth just pipping Stuttgart for the final qualifying place for this competition. They won nine out of 17 home league games losing just four but were defeated seven times on the road. European form last season saw them win four out of six at home with defeats by Besiktas and Napoli.
Swedish side Hacken beat Liepaja from Lativia in the first qualifying round winning the away first leg 3-0 but then going down 2-1 at home. They haven't got the greatest of records in the Europa League having never gotten past the third qualifying round. Last season saw them lose at this stage to Cork City and only have one win in their last six Europa League games. Current form is poor too as they sit 10th in the Swedish league after 14 games having already lost six games including three of the last four and it's unlikely they will be in this competition next season. The tip here is to go for Leipzig to get the win and be leading at both half and full time.
