Leipzig will play host to Bayer Leverkusen in one of the big matches on Match Day 19 in Bundesliga. They have conceded two or more in three of their last four matches and have just two clean sheets in the last five. Three of their last five matches have seen over 2.5 goals scored and they have scored in 13 of their last 15 matches. Heading to this game, Leipzig lost 3-2 to relegation threatened Mainz. That was Mainz’s only second league win this season. They have also lost to Dortmund and drawn with Wolfsburg, leaving them with just one win in the last four league matches. At home, Leipzig have three wins, one loss and three clean sheets in the last five matches. They have scored seven goals in the last five home matches but conceded five.

Leverkusen are also coming from a loss, having fallen 1-0 to Wolfsburg. They will be keen not to lose to another top four side. A win will push Leverkusen to second place and this is the prize they’ll be going for as they aim to challenge Bayern for the title. One area they’ll need to address though is the defence as they go here without a clean sheet in the last seven matches. Three of their last five matches have produced under 2.5 goals. With two straight away losses, Leverkusen will be hoping for a better outing here.
