Tottenham Hotspur will head to the King Power Stadium on Saturday to take on Leicester City, determined to keep the pressure on the sides above them in the Premier League standings. Spurs are in fifth place in the league, with 39 points in 22 matches, just one point behind Newcastle in the fourth and final Champions League spot. The visitors will come into this match on a major high after strangling the defending champions Man City in their last match and holding on to a well-deserved 1-0 win. With that win, Spurs managed to improve their fairly average recent record to three wins and three losses in their last six league matches. Their away form has been equally average, taking 18 points from 11 matches, which included five wins, three draws, and three losses. In the reverse fixture, Spurs crushed the Foxes 6-2 at home and will be hoping to put on another clinical display in this one.

Leicester City has been uncharacteristically poor this season and has found themselves involved in the relegation battle for the most part. Courtesy of improved displays in their last two matches, which included a 2-2 draw to Brighton and Hove Albion and a 4-2 win over an in-form Aston Villa, the Foxes have managed to pull themselves into 14th place in the league, with 21 points in as many matches. However, they are still only three points above the drop zone, and with a couple of tricky fixtures incoming, they are by no means safe yet. Their win over Villa was the only one in their last six matches, which also included one draw and four losses. At the King Power Stadium, Leicester’s record isn’t much better this season, winning only two of their ten matches on home soil. Leicester’s defense has been their major issue this season, and they are in for another major test against the likes of Harry Kane, who has already netted 17 times this season.
