Tottenham have had their last two matches called off after a Covid-19 outbreak at the team but it seems they will get the clearance to travel to Leicester City. Their hosts have also had cases of Covid-19 but so far there’s no official communication regarding the same. Leicester are up to eighth in the league standings with 22 points after their 4-0 win over relegation threatened Newcastle United. That was their first clean sheet in 17 matches, and they went to it missing a number of key players. They’ve managed two score two or more goals in four of their last five matches but have conceded two or more in four of the last five matches as well. The season hasn’t turned out so well for them but Brendan Rodgers will hope the big win and clean sheet in the last game is a sign of good things to come.

Tottenham Hotspur haven’t played since their 3-0 win. Over Norwich City in the first week of December. They go to this game with two games in hand and are placed seventh, with 25 points, three ahead of Leicester who have a better goal difference. In their last six matches, Spurs have four wins and one loss. Four of those six matches have produced over 2.5 goals and they’ve managed to score two or more in four. Going to this game they have two straight clean sheets, registered in matches against Brentford and Norwich. This will be a tougher challenge, but after going for about 10 days without a game they should be well rested.
