Leicester vs Southampton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

With 20 minutes to go it looked as if Southampton were going to get three vital points at home to Chelsea on Saturday. Then they colllapsed to a disastrous 3-2 defeat leaving them five points from safety at the bottom of the Premier League. The weekend sees them take on Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals but they'd probably swap a win in that game for three points away to Leicester City. Southampton have gone seven league games without a win and their only win in the last 20 has been at bottom of the table West Brom. In each of their last four games they have conceded three goals and away from home have lost the last three conceding nine goals and have just one victory in the last 14 so it's hard to see them getting out of the bottom three and haven't won since the arrival of Mark Hughes.

Leicester City lost at Burnley on Saturday and that seems to have ended any hope they had of Europa League football next season. They are eighth in the table but nine points behind Burnley so their season is all but over after two straight league defeats. Home form has seen them go four without a win but three have ended in draws and they have only lost one of their last seven. Vardy and Mahrez will be looking forward to taking on the poor Southampton defence and they can help Leicester get a welcome home win.
