Leicester welcomes Roma to the King Power Stadium for this semi-final first leg match in the Europa Conference League. Leicester overcame PSV 2-1 on aggregate in the quarter finals after having a goalless draw in the first leg. They will want a win in this match as the second leg in Rome will be very difficult to win. Leicester played out a goalless draw in their last match against Aston Villa. They have had a poor season in the Premier League and this competition is very important to them as it represents their only chance to play in Europe again next season by winning this title. Leicester have struggled on the road but their recent home record is excellent as they are unbeaten in their last nine matches, while winning five of their last seven at the King Power Stadium. This will be their first ever meeting with Roma.

Roma lost their last match 3-1 away to Inter Milan which brought an end to a three match unbeaten run. It was their first league defeat in twelve matches. Roma came through the quarter finals by beating Bodo/Glimt 5-2 on aggregate. They had played the Norwegian side four times this season and recorded their first win against them when it countered the most as they easily disposed of them 4-0 in the second leg. Roma’s away record is very poor as they have only won one of their last five matches winning two and drawing two. In Europe though they have only lost to Bodo/Glimt away from home this season while winning their other four away matches.
