Leicester welcomes French side Rennes to the King Power Stadium for this round of 16 match in the Europa Conference League. The home team have struggled in the league this season and find themselves in 12th place with 33 points although they have won their last two league matches. Winning this tournament is their only way to get into Europe next season as they are 12 points behind the automatic European qualifying positions in the league. Rennes have been enjoying a great season in both the French Ligue 1 and the Europa Conference League. They are in the top four of the league and qualified top of their group in this competitions group stage. They were the only unbeaten team in their group as they had four wins and two draws in the group. They finished ahead of the much fancied English giants Tottenham and actually beat them 3-0 in London. Rennes have been prolific goal scorers this season and are only second to PSG in goals scored in the French Ligue 1. They also have the third best defensive record in the league.
