Leicester vs Manchester United Prediction & Betting Tips - FA Cup
by Nella Wagah | in FA Cup Predictions
It is a big week for Manchester United; after their win over Milan in the Europa League to advance to the quarters, they have another away game to Leicester City in the FA Cup quarters. Leicester were eliminated from the Europa League much earlier and had a free midweek ahead of this Sunday clash. The two sides contesting for the second position in the league will be fighting it out for a slot at the semis. Leicester City go to the game unbeaten in their last three matches and very keen on improving their home run. They’ve scored nine goals in the last four matches but will hope Jamie Vardy joins the party, with the top striker failing to score in the last seven matches. Meanwhile, Kelechi Iheanacho has been the team’s star lately, with five goals in the last three matches as Vardy struggles for form with James Maddison and Harvey Barnes injured. Leicester have failed to score in just three of their last 15 matches and have five wins in their last 10 home matches with five of their last 10 home matches also producing over 2.5 goals. In the last round, Leicester eliminated Brighton to book their quarters slot. It was their sixth win in seven FA Cup matches and they’ll be hoping it inspires the team, having gone winless against United in the last 13 matches.
Manchester United have top midfielder Paul Pogba back, and he made a statement on his return with the winning goal against Milan away in Italy. The 1-0 win marked a 14th unbeaten outing for United, with seven draws in there. The Red Devils have massively improved in defence and now have eight clean sheets in their last 11 matches. Defending slim wins is becoming a specialty at the team, United having scored more than a goal in just five of their last 15 matches. They’ve scored just five goals in the last seven matches and nine of their last 11 matches have now ended in under 2.5 goals. The win in Milan produced their 13th unbeaten away match, with seven wins, and in the FA Cup, they head to Leicester with seven wins in the last eight matches. United are unbeaten in the last four FA Cup matches they’ve played away from home.

Our Leicester vs Manchester United Prediction
Manchester United haven’t been scoring a lot of goals, but have the needed solidity in defence, which has won them many matches lately. They have a solid run away from home and face a Leicester side that has been below par at home, and with injuries to key players. Leicester are on a long winless run against United and in their home form, a United win looks likely but sure bet would be on the game producing under 2.5 goals.
