Two clubs who will have a successful 2021 if working out how to get home results. Leicester City are second in the Premier League and host Manchester United who are third and will go above them if winning this game. Like their opponents, City have shown good form on their travels, while struggling at home. that's been illustrated in the past week with a home loss to Everton followed by an away win at Tottenham. City have won three home league games but been beaten in four with no draws. Three of the last five at the King Power stadium have been lost. Only nine home league goals have been scored by City in seven games. That stat looks even worse when you consider seven of them came in wins against Burnley and Brighton. Just two in the other five and Jamie Vardy has only scored one goal from open play in their home Premier League fixtures. It’s not just up front that there have been struggles at home. Defensively, City have conceded at least two goals in four home league matches this season.

Manchester United bid to make it 11 straight away wins in the Premier League. That run already includes a win at Leicester last season in the game that clinched them their Champions League place. United haven’t just been winning away league matches but scoring plenty of goals too. The last six have seen them score at least three goals. They’ve managed to score at least twice in each of the ten, if only they could do that at home. If only they could stop conceding the first goal on their Premier League travels. Home form has been a problem but the weekend saw them beat Leeds United 6-2. If they can continue this good run of form, a title challenge is definitely one. They only trail Liverpool by five points and have a game in hand on them. Go for United to begin the festive period with an away win at Leicester.

Take away the wins over Burnley and Brighton and Leicester have scored just twice in their other five home league games.
