In a massive clash between two of the top-three sides in the Championship, Leicester will welcome Ipswich Town. This matchday 28 of the season will be played at the King Power Stadium on Monday. Ahead of this weekend fixtures, the hosts are top of the table with 65 points while the visitors are pulled down to 3rd with 58 points. The Foxes have an eight-point lead at the top which is fairly comfortable. Yet, a loss here will change things, although their recent form is encouragingly consistent. Leicester have won eight of their last ten competitive games, losing only once. The record gets better at home, where the Foxes have won nine of their last ten competitive matches, losing only to Leeds.

Ipswich saw their lead at the second place evaporate with Southampton winning over the weekend. With the Tractor Boys poorer in terms of goal difference, anything other than a win would make their top-two chances jittery. A 2-1 win over Sunderland in the league on the last matchday was a welcome relief, providing their second win in a row. That sequence was preceded by a five-game winless run in the league, where they drew four and lost once. The challenge for the visitors is to step up their game, especially on the road, as they have been inconsistent. Ipswich have won only three of their last nine away games in all competitions, drawing four and losing two.
