Leicester City’s quest for a top four place received a major boost in the 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion, and they can consolidate it as they host Crystal Palace on Monday. After 32 matches, Leicester are third in the standings with 59 points while Palace, who have played 31, are 13th with 38 points. After a shaky period, Leicester are getting their act together, having won two back to back games – in the 1-0 FA Cup win over Southampton and 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion in the league. Brendan Rodgers has key players coming back from injury and isolation and a much better Leicester side is expected in the final matches of the season. Turkish international Caglar Soyuncu has started the last two matches and the team has two clean sheets, while James Maddison had a first start in the last game after recovering from injury and clearing an internal disciplinary issue. That should give them the needed edge here but then their away run hasn’t had much positive results and they’re also winless in their last three matches against Leicester City. In 15 away league matches, Palace have managed just five wins. They have two wins, three losses and no clean sheet in the last six away league matches.
