Leicester City play host to Brighton this weekend when the clubs face off for a Premier League match at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.  The Foxes are currently fourth in the table with 21 points from 11 games, three points behind leaders Tottenham. Brighton, meanwhile, are 16th in the table with 10 points. Leicester impressed on their last outing, securing a 2-1 win at Sheffield United thanks to a last-minute Jamie Vardy winner. The goal condemned Sheffield United to their tenth defeat in 11 league matches. Brighton didn't fare as well in their previous league contest, a three-game unbeaten run in the league coming to an end against Southampton. The Saints benefitted from a controversial penalty in a 2-1 victory. Brendan Rodgers will need his Leicester team to become a more assertive side at home if they are to qualify for the Champions League this season. They have lost three of their five home league fixtures this season. Brighton have picked up more points on their travels than Leicester have at home, the Seagulls taking seven points from the first 15 available. 

In the past, Brighton have struggled to score goals at the King Power Stadium. Six of their last eight matches there saw them fail to find the back of the net. Typically, these are low-scoring games. Eight of the last ten home matches for Leicester against Brighton featured fewer than three goals. Three of Brighton's previous six league fixtures also failed to register more than three goals. We suggest backing under 2.5 goals.
